The ACS Composite C6 Corvette L88 Extractor hood draws inspiration from the iconic L88 and brings that same signature cowl to the Chevrolet C6 Corvette. The L88 is manufactured in RTM and is an ideal material for hood composition. Your body shop will love painting this hood, and you'll love the final quality.

L88 hood offers greater clearance compared to the C6 Corvette stock hood (approximately 1'').
Heat extraction through a single massive louver featured on the cowl to support the most aggressive driving.
Water management system to ensure that rainwater and debris that enters the louver is redirected to the front of the vehicle away from sensitive engine components.
Hood will clear most top mount superchargers such as the Magnuson TVS.

Does this come painted?
No, this comes in primer, which is an unpainted surface that will require final sanding prior to paint. Due to the nature of the product we cannot offer paint matching services.

Does the hood require hood pins?
No. hood pins are not required, as the hood will withstand high speeds. The L88 is installed the same way your OEM hood is installed. We re-use all the OEM mounting points and hardware.

Freight Shipping All freight shipments must be inspected prior to signing the delivery receipt. It is necessary to remove all packaging materials from the merchandise to inspect for freight damage such as broken corners or punctures that may have been caused by a forklift. If there are signs of damage, refuse the delivery and sign the delivery receipt as "DAMAGED" then contact us immediately to file a damage claim.
