You may paint over our carbon fiber components provided the surface is prepped correctly - free of dirt and grease, etc. Consult with a professional painter for recommendations.
You can have wrap material installed on your carbon fiber, however, too much heat used for installation or removal can damage the resin surface.
You can add a ceramic coating to our carbon fiber components to help protect the surface from abrasion and enhance the high luster, show-quality finish. Consult with the manufacturer or installer for recommendations.
All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. Anderson Composites will not be liable for any damages to the product and the vehicle caused by not properly using hood pins. We offer hood pins on our website.
We always recommend the factory hood struts be removed when installing a composite hood. Factory struts are rated for a heavier hood.
Do I need to use a heat shield when installing a composite hood? Yes. Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields for all carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods. Heat shields help avoid pre-mature aging of the product. We offer heat shields on our website.
What is colored carbon fiber? Color tinted "carbon fiber" fabric is made with Kevlar. Anderson Composites carbon fiber fabric is woven with 3k 2x2, 100% carbon fiber, resulting in a black and grey appearance. We do not offer color-tinted carbon fiber components.

Freight Shipping All freight shipments must be inspected prior to signing the delivery receipt. It is necessary to remove all packaging materials from the merchandise to inspect for freight damage such as broken corners or punctures that may have been caused by a forklift. If there are signs of damage, refuse the delivery and sign the delivery receipt as “DAMAGED” then contact us immediately to file a damage claim. We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

Returns If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return any item in its original condition within 30 days from the date of purchase and we will gladly provide a refund, replacement, or credit at our own discretions. All authorized returns must be in the original packaging complete with all pieces and all documents included; otherwise, the return shall be deemed ineligible, and in which case, no refund, exchange, or credit shall be issued. A 20% restocking fee will be charged on all authorized returns. Shipping is non-refundable. No cancellation, refund, exchange, or a credit on used parts, modified parts, painted parts, special ordered parts or custom ordered parts. REPLACEMENTS: On occasion, wrong items are shipped. Anderson Composite reserves the right to either get the wrong item back or request destruction photos of the item. Once the wrong item is being returned or the destruction photos are approved we will then ship a replacement item.
