Fiberglass Hood Panel Edges Are Typical Thicker Than Factory Metal/Aluminum Hoods.
For Accessories Such As Front Hood Grille, Pilot Holes Are Pre Drilled On Most Of Our Hood Panels. Customers Must Fit Merchandise To Ensure Proper Fitting And Alignment Prior To Painting.
They Are All Handmade Minor Differences Can Occur. Adjustment Is Needed Sometimes.
Fiberglass Hood Panels Come In Gel-Coated Finish Which Must Be Painted After Trial Fitting To Match The Customer's Vehicle. Hand Prepped Work Is Required Prior Painting. Occasionally Minor Scuffs Or Non-Consequential Surface Blemishes May Be Present As A Result Of The Post-Curing, Manufacturing, Shipping And Handling Process. These Blemishes Are Removed During The Normal Sanding And Preparation Process Required When Painting Any Vehicle Body Component.

If there are signs of freight damage you must refuse the item due to damage then contact us immediately. Make sure to open and inspect all content(s) before signing [this includes removing the wrapping bubbles and plastics to physically inspect the item(s)]. This process usually takes about 5-10 minutes. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the item thoroughly. If a customer fails to fully open up the box(es) and inspect their merchandise for damage, and signs the freight carrier's paperwork indicating that all merchandise was inspected (which is what is stated on all freight carriers paperwork), inspects their merchandise after the freight carrier leaves and then finds damage, or what is called "concealed damage", neither the freight carrier, nor BMC Extreme Customs will be responsible to replace or pay for repairs to the product.
